Introducing Cheers TV, a show that’s all about great wine without the snobbery.
Independent sommeliers Dan Sims and Ben Edwards are your amiable hosts, both with years of tasting experience under their belts. Each week, they’ll be bringing you wine reviews, news and some serious appetite-whetting.

Today, they pop the cork on the series with a bottle of Perrier-Jouët “Belle Epoque” 2002 vintage (if you don’t mind). It’s a pricey champagne (think $200 plus) but it is a 96-point wine, with tiny bubbles and a “briochey” taste that’s as fresh as a daisy.
Today’s tip: Why you shouldn’t open champagne with a big bang.
