SmartCompany is excited to announce the dates and details for part four of the Pitch, our early-stage startup competition.
It’s free to enter and open now. Applications close on Friday, October 27. Check your startup’s eligibility and start yours here.
After taking the grand prize at the third instalment in Sydney last month, nVest founder Sivan Atad said “I’m in a dream right now”.
With $100,000 in AWS active credits and a half-day strategy workshop, complimentary grants review, and monthly mentoring meetings for a year with BlueRock, you’ll be in a dream too if your startup takes out the grand prize in Melbourne.
Not in Melbourne? That’s fine, startups from all over the country are welcome. There’s more information on the Pitch eligibility, dates and prizes here.
We’ve already awarded $315,000 worth of prizes to winning startups including Amber Linz’s Zipr and Amy Benson’s Diolog.
How the Pitch works
Enter your short pitch deck here, it’s fast and free. Once our entries close, an internal judging panel will choose a shortlist of five frontrunners, who’ll pitch their startup on the night. An esteemed guest judging panel made up of VC, startup and business leaders will deliver insightful feedback to all contestants, and finally pick a winner.
We’ve already had guest judges from Blackbird VC, Airtree, Main Sequence, Flying Fox, After Work and more.
Get more information here, and if you’re looking for some inspiration, check out the shortlisted candidates for the Pitch’s first, second and third instalments.
