Australian e-commerce startup Bigcommerce has partnered with PayPal and Braintree to offer one-touch payments for its 90,000 merchants.
Bigcommerce merchants will get access to PayPal’s One Touch for web and mobile, which enables their customers to pay across more than 90,000 online stores in a single touch, without the need to enter user IDs or passwords after their initial login.
The service will be made available to all Bigcommerce merchants in the United States in the coming weeks, with international rollout expected later this year.
Bigcommerce co-founder Eddie Machaalani said in a statement the collaboration reflects the shared vision of the three companies to find new ways to help merchants grow their businesses.
“What PayPal has delivered through One Touch for the web is a future proof payments solution that will enable our merchants to stay at the forefront of innovation while streamlining the day-to-day management of their businesses,” Machaalani said.
The partnership connects Bigcommerce’s platform with a number of payment services from PayPal, including support for digital wallet payments, consolidated business management tools, and automated fraud protections.
