Hackers attack Universal and Viacom

A hacking group has now attacked the entertainment studios Universal and Viacom reportedly releasing confidential username and password data.

The move comes just days after the hacking group LulzSec announced it would end its 50-day streak of hacking, after attacking software companies and government departments.

According to the Wall Street Journal, the group AntiSec has attacked both Universal and Viacom releasing data such as passwords and usernames.
The hack highlights just how ruthless hacking groups are becoming. Just last month one group in particular attacked Melbourne hosting company Distribute.IT, causing it to lose data on four separate servers.
