The Apple iPad dominates mobile web traffic accounting for 89% of all browsing on tablets, new data from ComScore reveals.
The research firm has revealed the results of a new study which shows the iPad contribution to non-computer device traffic is highest in Canada at 33.5%, with Brazil following at 31.8%.
The study also found that Android tablets are falling behind Apple in the tablet market, but that Android is actually outperforming Apple in the smartphone sector.
“iPod Touches contribute a notable percentage of non-computer device traffic across most countries, while other devices such as e-readers and gaming systems contribute only a very modest percentage,” ComScore found.
