Restaurant goers in Sydney can now order their food off an iPad.
Global Mundo Tapas restaurant in North Sydney’s Rydges Hotel has replaced their printed menus with Apple’s new gadget.
The custom designed app loaded on the iPads allows people to browse the menu options, see pictures of the dishes and read tasting notes.
The menu even suggests the best choices in wine with certain dishes and what foods to eat together.
It also allows diners to choose how they want their steak cooked and choose different types of toppings.
The menu app keeps track of stock for the restaurant and if certain wines or dishes run out, they automatically disappear off the menu.
