Companies of all sizes have been using the iPhone to market themselves with apps, and that trend continues with the Melbourne-based 13CABS app.
The app, which the company says is designed for busy Friday and Saturday nights, allows users to keep tabs on their cab through a number of different features.
Users first book their cab, and can even take an estimate of the fare they will be charged at the end of the night. After entering booking information, users simply wait for a cab to take the job.
Additionally, users can also check out where their booked cab is by using the “where’s my cab?” feature. The assigned car will show up on a Google maps interface within the app.
While 13CABS already has an online booking system, this simple user interface will make things easier on a busy night out.
