A new online community developed for entrepreneurs, small business owners and freelance workers has been designed to help create new customers and develop new forms of discounting.
The new “Bizual” community, which is currently invitation only, invites new users to develop a personal profile and then offer at least one exclusive deal for other members.
The deals can include discounts, free samples or anything else that isn’t available to non-members.
Other business owners on the site can then take advantage of those offers, offering the creator of the deal a new customer. The deals that are voted the most popular are elevated to the top of a user list.
Members can search for deals and members by location and keyword, and can also take part in a “lucky dip” for new deals. Members can leave feedback, and a rating system of deals is being developed.
The Britain-based site is currently free, but will soon switch to a subscription model with accounts ranging from free-of-charge to about $US99.
