While Apple was busy with the announcement of version 3 of its iPhone and iPod touch operating system, Google was making an announcement of its own.
The internet search giant has just released the second version of its Chrome internet browser, which it first released in September last year as a beta version.
The updates to the browsers include full-page zooming capabilities, auto-scrolling and side-by-side view, which adjusts browser windows to equal sizes when a “tab” is dragged into a new window by itself.
The new version also features autofill, which keeps information typed into online forms and registration pages, such as login information for forums and surveys.
Since its release, Chrome has managed to gain 1.15% of the browser market.
