Sony has suspended sales of its Xperia Tablet S tablet in the UK, launched during the first week of September, due to a design flaw.
According to Tom’s Hardware, some of the tablets released during September fail to meet the company’s stated “splash-proof specification” because of a “minor” gap between the display and the back of the tablet.
In a statement, the company says it will suspend further sales of the device until the issue is fixed.
The company has also promised consumers it will repair any tablet affected by the issue.
