New free web-based photoshop software

Software company Adobe has released a free web-based digital photo storage and editing tool called Photoshop Express, iTWire reports.

Users can upload photos from their computer to the program and then use it to edit them, using functions such as crop & rotate, auto correct, red-eye removal and sharpen, all while preserving the original image.

It also has a storage and organisation function that allows the user to organise their pics into albums and display up to 2 gigs worth of photos as slideshows which can be embedded in web pages or plugged into the likes of Facebook and Photobucket.

Photoshop Express is free during the beta period, but ITWire says Adobe hasn’t said whether it will remain free once the final product is released.
