Quickly after the introduction of new iPods and software updates, rumours abound that Apple may soon announce a 32GB version of its popular 3G iPhone device.
According to appleinsider.com, the 8GB version of the phone is selling quickly and may soon be discontinued to make way for a larger capacity version.
Many iPhone fans were disappointed when apple CEO Steve Jobs failed to announce a 32GB version at the initial launch of the updated 3G device in June.
But some commentators are skeptical. Itwire.com says: “AppleInsider’s report is hardly confirmation that an iPhone 32GB is on the way, but it once again raises the possibility that it will appear this year, and will greatly annoy anyone who has recently purchased a 16GB iPhone 3G.”
