MY BEST TECH: Kate Vale

Kate Vale is the head of Spotify in Australia and New Zealand, having come from her post as the first local employee of search giant Google.

Spotify is all about easy access to music, so it’s no wonder Vale’s favourite piece of tech – the wireless hi-fi tech Sonos – allows her to listen wherever, and however, she pleases.

“I just love the fact it’s easy to listen to music wirelessly throughout the house, and pretty much everyone can collaborate on what they want to listen to. Spotify has integration with Sonos, so it works really well.”

“I love that it’s always on at home. We have different zones in my house, and so you can be listening to something downstairs in the living room, while upstairs my kids may be listening to something completely different. It’s great.”
