HTC and Nokia smartphone users using Windows Phone 8 smartphones, including the Lumia 920, are flooding online forums with complaints about poor battery life and their device rebooting at random.
According to The Verge, engineers from both Nokia and HTC have confirmed they are aware of the issues and are currently investigating.
Complaints about the issues are flooding into popular Windows Phone websites such as WpCentral, as well as Microsoft’s official support forums.
Some Lumia 920 users have attempted to wipe the installed copy of Windows Phone 8 and reinstall it, only to discover that the device remains stuck at the Nokia splash screen.
“We are working with Microsoft to investigate these reports. We will provide an update as soon as more information is available,” a Nokia spokesperson says.
