Finally written that great novel you always knew was inside you, but can’t afford to publish? US based site Podiobooks may be for you.
According toSpringwise, Podiobooks makes books available for free to its 40,000-plus members in podcast form. Users of the site can download episodes or chapters of available books for free and can then listen to them on their computer or on an MP3 player.
A combination of advertising and listener donations support the service, which passes on 75% of all donated funds to authors. Podiobooks.com now has 3913 episodes of 184 titles available for download.
