Key developers from HP’s mobile development team have defected to Google, according to reports.
The Verge reports that the staff were developers on a project called Enyo, which is a HTML5 application framework for HP’s forthcoming Open WebOS platform.
HP maintains that its Open WebOS project is still on track despite the defections.
The news comes less than a week after HP announced it will cut 27,000 jobs from its global workforce.
