Google Drive to offer 5GB of free storage, leak suggests

Google’s upcoming cloud storage service will offer users 5GB of data for free, according to the latest leaked details.

The tech giant has reportedly been working on a Dropbox competitor for some time, hoping to break into the consumer cloud storage market.

A new screenshot posted at TalkAndroid suggests Google Drive will offer 5GB of storage instead of 1GB, which was reported in earlier rumours.

The screenshot also suggests that users will be able to access files on a variety of devices, including PCs, tablets and smartphones.
