Senior Apple executives are secretly conducting a search to replace chief executive Tim Cook, according to a startling media report in Forbes.
According to the report, “Wall Street sources close to some Apple executives” are claiming a search for a new chief executive at the company has begun.
However, despite the leadership speculation, the report indicates there is currently no evidence suggesting Apple’s board has joined moves to replace Cook.
The news comes after Apple’s share price plummeted from $US702 per share to a 52-week low of $US390.
