Apple is planning a major expansion of its Apple Store chain, with the tech giant planning to open up to 35 new stores during 2013.
The expansion comes on top of the 33 stores the company owned this year, with 28 opened outside the US.
According to Tom’s Hardware, the plan was outlined in a filing to the United States Security and Exchanges Commission (SEC), with three-quarters of the new stores planned for outside the US.
Apple currently has 250 stores in the US, with a further 140 stores in 13 countries.
