There are reports that websites hosted by DreamHost are redirecting users to a Russian scam page, after the webhosting company was attacked last month.
Kaspersky Labs’ Threatpost have posted an update advising that hundreds of websites hosted by DreamHost are now redirecting users to a Russian “get rich at home” scam page.
Late last month, DreamHost reset customer passwords following the possible unauthorised access of its customers’ FTP passwords.
Australian businesses who have websites or email accounts hosted by DreamHost are strongly advised to change their passwords, if they have not already done so.
