iiNet have completed their $105 million takeover of Internode a month earlier than originally anticipated.
In typical fashion, Internode managing director Simon Hackett announced the completion of the deal in a post on the telecommunications website Whirlpool.
The takeover, originally announced in late December, sees iiNet acquire Internode’s 260,000 active subscribers, in exchange for Hackett gaining 7.5% ownership of the combined company.
Internode will continue to operate as a separate entity, with any further integration yet to be announced.
