The Joomla Project Team have released version 2.5 of the Joomla content management system.
The major new feature of this release is support for databases other than MySQL, including Microsoft SQL, with Oracle support planned for a future release.
Other features include improved notification of updates and improved natural language handling during searches.
Joomla, along with WordPress and Drupal, remain the most widely used content management systems for SMEs.
