Asus has announced its tablet roadmap for the year, ahead of the 2012 CES in Las Vegas.
At a press conference Taipei, Asus announced that it would reveal a Windows 8 tablet at the CES, which it hoped to have on sale by the end of 2012.
The company also announced a new seven inch tablet and a higher resolution 10 inch model, as well as improvements to the GPS functionality in its Transformer Prime tablets.
The announcements come as speculation grows that Apple is set to launch both the iPad 3 and a high-end iPad 4 during 2012.
