Google has announced a November release for the successor to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, which will be named Android 5.0 Jellybean
Given Ice Cream Sandwich was released in November last year, the news has prompted speculation that Google is moving to an annual November release cycle for Android.
The announcement was made at the 2012 Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.
While details of the new operating system remain sketchy, according to TechRadar LG has already announced that a Jellybean update will be available on any LG handset that can support it.
