Mozilla and Google have announced a new search deal that will see the search engine maintained as the default option in the Firefox browser.
The deal comes after a tumultuous year for Mozilla, which has been facing competition from Google and its own browser, Chrome.
However, it announced today it had signed an agreement that is “significant and mutually beneficial”.
It is understood the agreement will last for three years and will see the two groups share revenue.
