Apple may launch a television set next year with production to begin in February, according to a new report from a Jefferies & Company analyst.
However, Apple has not confirmed any production of a television set and many analysts believe such a product would never even be made.
Analyst Peter Misek has written in a new note that the HDTV will use Sharp panels and launch next year, according to Boy Genius Report.
The report also claims that Apple will use Sharp panels for the device.
Other reports have rumoured that Apple may use its Siri voice recognition technology for a television. But so far, none of these reports have been confirmed and many analysts remain sceptical.
