Facebook is updating the News Feed to allow users to rank their information through either Recent Stories, or Highlighted Stories, according to various reports.
The new update creates a link called “sort” at the top of each News Food. By clicking it, users are able to select either “Highlighted Stories First” or “Recent Stories First”.
Highlighted stories will see the most popular content go to the top of the page, while the recent stories will show the information in reverse chronological order.
This comes after Facebook changed the News Feed several weeks ago in order to remove the Top Stories and Most Recent options that were at the top of each user’s page.
