Amazon is working on a new Kindle Fire tablet and will change up the size of the screen in this next version, a new report from DigiTimes has stated.
The report claims that Amazon will shift the size to 8.9 inches rather than the 10.1 inch version that has yet to hit the market.
According to sources in the supply chain, DigiTimes reports that Chunghwa Picture Tubes and LG Display have already begun preparing the displays.
It is also reported that once the 8.9 inch version has been released, Amazon will also look at releasing 9.7 inch and 10.1 inch models during 2012.
