Apple is set to update its official store iOS app, giving it a bunch of new features that will allow users to have more control over their store experience.
According to a Boy Genius report, the app will allow users to order a product, and then pick it up exactly 12 minute later, thanks to a number of back-of-house restructures that allow staff to work faster.
If users order something that isn’t in stock, customers are given a pick up date, with everything else having free shipping.
The publication also reports that for customers who purchase online, priority will be given over those who just walk into the store off the street.
One of the biggest new features is self-checkout, which will see users be able to buy products themselves with the app and then walk out of the store.
