Apple is working on a television set and the project is being spearheaded by the engineer who helped build iTunes, a new Bloomberg report has stated.
The report comes after the release of Steve Jobs’ authorised biography, in which he is quoted as saying he would have liked to create a television set that was simple to use and worked within the Apple ecosystem.
According to Bloomberg, Jeff Robbin is currently designing the software interface for an Apple TV, and analysts quoted in the report believe Apple already has a prototype.
However, another source has stated that it may not release anything at all. Apple regularly works with test projects and often leaves some products unreleased if it doesn’t feel they are up to its quality standard.
