Microsoft chief executive Steve Ballmer has hit out at the Android operating system, calling it too difficult to use.
Speaking at the Web 2.0 summit in San Francisco, Ballmer said that “you don’t have to be a computer scientist to use a Windows Phone, but you do to use an Android phone,” according to The Telegraph.
Ballmer also mentioned that he is unable to get excited about any of the new Android models, and said that in comparison with the iPhone, a Windows Phone “gets things done”.
The remarks come on the same day Google released the new version of its Android software, Ice Cream Sandwich, in Hong Kong.
