Twitter has released an update for its iPhone app, in preparation for the iOS 5 software to be released tomorrow.
The new update, which will affect the iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch platforms, will introduce a new photo sharing feature, that will allow users to take a photo on the iPhone and then upload it to Twitter.
The new update also includes a feature that will affect the way direct messages are presented, while users will also be able to tap a location to show nearby tweets.
The update comes as the iOS 5 software due to be launched tomorrow integrates Twitter in a big way, allowing users to share content directly to the micro blogging service.
