Apple may be preparing to update its MacBook Pro line up later this month, according to a new report from AppleInsider.
The publication reports that according to several sources, the MacBook Pro line will receive some enhancements with a new Intel chip.
The report states the Intel Core i7 processors are expected to replace the current chipsets in 15 inch and 17 inch models. It also says the processor on the 13 inch model may be replaced with a dual core i7 chip.
Apple regularly updates its MacBook and Mac desktop computers with faster processors and other enhancements to keep up with competition. The new update is rumored to come after September 20.
