Foxconn, the Chinese firm responsible for manufacturing the iPhone 5, is ramping up product before the rumoured October launch date.
According to DigiTimes, suppliers have ramped up production with 150,000 units being pumped out per day.
Sources have indicated that Largan Precision and TPK Holding, along with suppliers Simplo and Dynapack are all working at high capacity, according to the report.
Shipments are rumoured to hit between five and six million units in September, reaching 22 million in total during the fourth quarter.
