iPad manufacturer Foxconn will reportedly ship 20 million units of the iPad to Apple in the third quarter, according to a new report from DigiTimes.
That figures represents 60% growth, the company also reporting net profits of $US945 million for the first half of the year.
The report suggests that orders for iPad 2 will be a “major growth driver” in the second half of the year.
There have been rumours that Foxconn has been unable to cope with targets for the second half, forcing Apple to find some alternative suppliers.
