HP may return to tablets

HP may bring back its troubled TouchPad device, just days after it announced the gadget would be discontinued.

The move sparked a massive discount for the gadget, with prices falling to $99 across the world. Hundreds lined up to get their hands on the device.

Personal Systems Group chief Todd Bradley has spoken to Reuters and said that this division of the company may be spun off.

“Tablet computing is a segment of the market that’s relevant, absolutely,” he said. “My intention would be to lead it through this transaction… and if it’s a standalone public company, to lead that.”
