LG, Samsung and Sharp have been tipped to provide new display panels for the iPad 3, which is due to be released next year, according to a new report from DigiTimes.
While it has previously been reported that Apple would be sourcing displays from Samsung and LG, Sharp has now been added into the mix.
The report claims that LG will be the largest iPad 3 supplier, with Samsung and Sharp following after that. However, it also says the Sharp could soon become the largest player in time.
Reports have indicated that manufacturing of the device is expected to begin this year with a launch set for next year.
