Apple has introduced a new update to its Apple TV device that will allow users to choose to either rent or buy a television show and then stream it to their gadget.
Previously users were only able to rent television shows on the device, but now users can buy or rent a television show and then stream it.
Analysts have pointed out that the update signals Apple’s entry into the cloud, with the company also launching the developer website for iCloud today as well. The update will allow users to access television episodes purchased on other devices.
The update is only available in the United States right now, but TechCrunch has reported that international updates will likely be coming in the next few weeks.
