American online DVD rental group and web streaming provider Netflix is talking with ISPs about a possible launch over the next year, The Australian has reported.
The move comes as local operator Quickflix has just announced its first web-streaming option for users of Sony technology.
The new report claims that the company is speaking with different internet providers about establishing partnerships.
While the company has not confirmed its long-term targets, analysts believe the move would make sense as it coincides with the roll-out of the National Broadband Network.
