New reports indicate manufacturers are gearing up for the launch of a new iPhone model in September, in line with previous reports.
According to DigiTimes, Pegatron Tech has received orders to construct 15 million of the new handsets in preparation for the launch.
Apple is suspected to be launching a new iPhone and iPad later this year, but so far no details have been confirmed.
DigiTimes also says that the new model will not be a major upgrade, but instead will be a half-step, similar to the iPhone 3GS. Previous reports have indicated that the new gadget will feature an A5 processor and a new camera with eight megapixels.
