A telecommunications analyst has predicted there won’t be a second iPhone model released alongside the new version in September, contrary to a prediction earlier this week from Deutsche Bank.
BMO Capital analyst Keith Bachman has said in a note to investors that he believes Apple will release a newer, updated version of the iPhone 4.
The earlier claim had said Apple would release a new iPhone, and a second model as well that would be the “cheaper” option of the two.
Bachman also says Apple will ship 17 million iPhone handsets in the quarter, instead of 18 million.
