The new version of the iPhone will come with an eight megapixel camera, according to a new report from DigiTimes.
The publication reports that OmniVision has been given a contract to supply the new cameras, with the company to supply 90% of the sensors for the next version of the iPhone. Sony will supply the rest, it claims.
There have been various rumours about new camera specs for the upcoming iPhone, and this new report gels with others that have claimed an eight megapixel camera is coming.
However, questions still remain about when the next iPhone will become available. Apple usually launches new hardware at WWDC, and this week the company only announced new software products.
