The blog SemiAccurate has published a report suggesting that Apple will move away from Intel chips for its computers in the future.
The publication states that it will move to ARM-based infrastructure and that both laptop and desktop computers will be included in the move.
The source states that it will probably wait before 64-bit cores are fully available, although 32-bit chips are accessible now. The blog mentions a timeline of two to three years.
Apple moved to Intel several years ago, a decision that caused a relative amount of controversy within the tech scene at the time.
