Amazon’s cloud locker music service now streams to iOS devices following a software update, with various tech publications discovering the silent upgrade earlier this week.
While the Amazon locker could not previous stream to the iPhone or iPad, now the update allows music to be played over Apple’s devices.
Engadget reports the music can be streamed over wireless connections to the iOS devices, including the iPhone 3GS, with very little delay.
The service also works with multitasking, which means iOS users can now perform other activities and use other apps while streaming their music – doing away with the need to carry all of a user’s music on a physical hard drive.
