New reports indicate the WiFi hotspots now available on the Verizon iPhone will be integrated with a new version of the iOS platform.
As reported by Boy Genius Report, the new iOS 4.3 build will see the feature introduced for all iPhones, not just those on the Verizon network.
“According to our source, the personal hotspot feature that debuted on the Verizon iPhone yesterday will, in fact, be making its way to all iPhones in iOS 4.3,” the publication reports.
The hot-spot feature is designed so the iPhone can share internet connections with several devices at once, and is set to replace the tethering option currently available on the gadget.
