Apple has decided to delay the release of the white version of the iPhone 4 until next year, the company announced. The white iPhone 4 was delayed in July, but Apple have decided not to release it until around March.
“White models of Apple’s new iPhone 4 have continued to be more challenging to manufacture than we originally expected,” a spokesperson told News.com.au.
With the constant delay of this release, questions are being asked as to whether Apple may have completely killed off the white iPhone.
Rumours have begun to speculate that the white home button and the white front face colour aren’t matching. The Street has previously reported that light in the white iPhones may be, “leaking around the edges of the glass and seeping through the back of the white iPhone”.
The delay means that users have only been able to purchase the black version of the iPhone 4.
