VoIP market leader Skype is reportedly planning a product lunch for the first quarter of next year that will see it introduce services able to be used within web browsers.
The news, reported by TechCrunch, reveals the company is also set to introduce those services with some major partner websites, including LinkedIn. This news comes after a recent developer also noticed some coding within Facebook that references Skype, fuelling speculation of a partnership.
The report states that Skype will start introducing plugins to users of existing applications.
The company also hopes to earn money through these new products by creating some premium features, such as text messaging and other types of call features.
