The Pingdom iPhone app allows users to monitor both sites and servers and lets you know immediately when they aren’t working.
Users need to create a Pingdom account, which can be done at the app’s website, and then set up the app to monitor specific websites and servers. The program is constantly being updated, and features nice little additions including push notifications, so you will automatically have a message pop up on your phone if your site goes down.
The app also allows you to view the status of all your sites, view uptime and response time stats for each site and customise the features that are shown on the display page.
This app won’t set you back anything, either – it’s free.
