Firefox maker Mozilla has released two new versions of the popular browser to clamp down on some security issues.
The new versions, Firefox 3.6.9 and Firefox 3.5.12, are designed to fix 10 security vulnerabilities and fix exposure to a risk called clickjacking.
According to CNET, the vulnerabilities would have allowed a remote hacker to run certain lines of code, which would enable them access to private information.
The new updates also allow web developers to block browsers from putting websites inside a frame, which some malicious sites can use a method for gaining information – known as clickjacking.
The updates come as the software developer continues to work on Firefox 4.
