MySpace, the News Corp-owned social network still struggling to maintain market share, will now allow users to sync content with their Facebook profiles.
The Sync with Facebook feature will allow MySpace account holders to share music, photos, links and videos. MySpace updates appear on Facebook pages, with Twitter accounts also able to be synced in the same way.
“This new sync functionality is part of an ongoing effort to make it simple for people to share their updates beyond MySpace and allow fans and friends to interact with that content across the web,” said director of product stream at MySpace Jennifer Ruffner in a blog post.
The feature comes as the site recently redesigned its profile and themes in order to give users more control. It’s also putting more of an emphasis on music profiles.
